Gage Update

So-Gage could be coming home in a week, or maybe longer.
Today has been been 9 weeks!
Its been a very emotional 9 weeks and I have to say I'd have gone crazy if it weren't for God,
the help of my family and the prayers and finanical support from friends, family and strangers.

the Nurse

There is one NICU nurse I dont particularly care for.
She's an older nurse and is always short with me and kinda rude.
I'm sure she means well but comes across as rude and cranky!
Anyways I called to check on Gage today and sure enough guess who is his nurse.
She just says he's fine.....and I'm like ok-fine as in how is his oxygen, how many spells??? But he's fine.
Really-they say I can call whenever and all the other nurses are great about telling me how he is but this "fine" business isn't cutting it-if he was FINE he'd be home.
Ok I'm done complaining now and I feel much better.
lol

Pumping

So, Im suppose to pump every three hours. Well last night I set my alarm wrong.
Woke up at 5am. I had leaked all over and my boobs still felt so full they could bust. Got a lot pumping but still it can mess with my supply. Good thing Zander is still nursing because I woke him up to drain me!
Now I hope my milk supply isnt going to drop because Gage is catching up to how much I'm pumping!
I'm headed down to see him again today. He got two more vaccines last night.
Well off to pump!

Gage weighs 5lbs 7oz now.
This has been a long 8 1/2 weeks but May is coming soon and he should get to come home sometime in May!
